Het OM verwacht dat dat aantal uiteindelijk hoger zal liggen, omdat niet alle arrestaties zijn verwerkt. Maar er waren ook rellen. De Franse krant Le Monde meldde rond middernacht dat er zeker 235 mensen zijn opgepakt. Een politieagent raakte gewond, een kiosk in de buurt van de Champs-Élysées werd in brand gestoken en minstens zes voertuigen werden beschadigd.
