삼표그룹이 '환경의 날'을 맞아 모든 계열사 사업장에서 수거한 폐작업복과 안전조끼를 활용해 업사이클링(Upcycling) 제품을 제작했다고 5일 밝혔다. 업사이클링 제품 제작은 자원순환 캠페인 '삼표 Re-Use 캠페인' 활동으로 임직원들이 자원순환을 체감하고 지속가능한 사회를 만들어 나간단 취지로 기획됐다. 올해는 지난해 '업사이클링 파우치' 제작에 이어 일상 활용도가 높은 '업사이클링 필통'을 제작한다. 일반 작업복만 수거했던 작년과 달리 올해는 현장 안전의 상징인 '안전조끼'까지 수거 대상을 확대했다. 모든 계열사 임직원들의 참여를 통해 작업복과 안전조끼 383벌이 수거됐고 수거된 의류는 국내 최초 업사이클링 브랜드 '에코파티메아리'와 협업해 필통 300개로 만들어진 뒤 다시 임직원들에게 돌아올 예정이다....
