카인사이언스는 지난 4일 식품의약품안전처(MFDS)로부터 자사가 개발한 면역조절 펩타이드 KINE-101 기반의 근감소증 치료 신약 후보물질 IN-207907에 대한 국내 임상 2상 시험계획(IND)을 승인받았다고 밝혔다.
IN-207907은 HK이노엔이 지난해 카인사이언스와 체결한 근감소증 치료제 공동연구개발 계약에 따라 함께 개발 중인 후보물질이다.
임상 2상에서는 HK이노엔이 국내 시험 수행을 주도하고 카인사이언스는 KINE-101 원천 후보물질 제공, 임상시험용 의약품 생산·CMC 기술 지원을 담당한다.
