The classless response to Ann Widdecombe’s murder

The former Conservative Minister and MP for Maidstone and The Weald was found dead at her home on Dartmoor on Thursday morning having sustained serious head injuries.

Police had arrested and questioned a 26-year-old local man but he was released without charge and is "no longer part of the investigation".

Widdecombe, 78, joined The Brexit Party and later became a member of Reform UK.
