President Meloni attends 2026 NATO Summit

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the NATO Summit in Ankara, Türkiye, on 7 and 8 July.

Yesterday evening, upon her arrival in Ankara, President Meloni was welcomed by the Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, and the Italian Ambassador to Ankara, Giuseppe Manzo. President Meloni then travelled to the Presidential Palace, where she attended the dinner for NATO Heads of State and Government hosted by the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the First Lady.

Today, in the margins of the Summit, President Meloni had meetings with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and later held a closing press conference.
