'Hugely frustrating': Andrew from the UK among rejected citizenship applicants

Andrew and his wife moved to Sweden from the UK in 2019, and once they became eligible, applied for Swedish citizenship on the exact same day.

But while his wife was eventually granted citizenship, Andrew's application — which got a decision just three days after Sweden's new citizenship eligibility rules came into effect — was rejected.
