[Nile Post] Researchers from the Interdisciplinary Consortium for Epidemic Research and Response (ICER) and collaborating institutions have identified a previously unreported variant (novel clade) of the Bundibugyo Ebola virus (BDBV) linked to the ongoing 2026 outbreak in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
