US Senate Confirms Fmr. Korean American Congresswoman Michelle Steel as Ambassador to S. Korea

The U.S. Senate has confirmed former Korean American Congresswoman Michelle Steel as the first U.S. ambassador to South Korea under President Donald Trump's second term.

The upper chamber approved Steel on Wednesday with 55 votes in favor, and 39 against the motion.
