Sandiganbayan OKs Revilla request to skip case trial until July

MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan Third Division has approved the request of former Senator Bong Revilla to skip his trial on malversation case until July.

“His waiver is approved, unless [his appearance is] required by the court,” third division’s clerk of court Dennis Pulma told Inquirer in a text message on Wednesday.
