Russian drone hits civilian building in Romania: statement by President Meloni

A Russian drone hit a civilian building in Romania last night, injuring two citizens on the territory of an allied state and member of the European Union.

An extremely serious act, which shows how this war of aggression spares no one, continuing to brutally attack innocent civilians, disregarding all limits, and putting European security at risk.

My deepest sympathy and solidarity go out to those affected, to the Romanian Government and to all the Romanian people.
