도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 29일(현지시간) 이란이 요르단의 미군 기지를 공격한 것에 대해 강한 타격으로 응징하겠다고 밝혔다.
이날 로이터통신에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 폭스뉴스와의 인터뷰에서 "미군이 중동 내 미군을 향해 이란이 발사한 탄도미사일 여러 발을 요격했다"고 밝힌 뒤 이같이 언급했다.
이란 혁명수비대(IRGC)는 28일 성명에서 "미군의 공격적 행동에 대응해 요르단에 주둔한 미 공군기지와 중앙지휘소를 향해 여러 발의 탄도미사일을 발사했다"고 밝힌 바 있다.
IRGC 발표에 앞서 미군 중부사령부는 SNS(소셜미디어) X를 통해 "28일 미 동부시간 오후 5시45분(한국시간 29일 오전 6시45분) IRGC가 중동에 주둔한 미군을 기습 공격하기 위해 여러 발의 탄도미사일을 발사했다"고 발표했다.
이어 "이란의 미사일은 모두 성공적으로 요격됐다"고 밝혔다....
