Boating tragedy in Gothenburg archipelago — woman and child still missing

The Swedish Maritime Administration has called off its search and rescue operation for a woman and child missing out at sea following a boating accident late Tuesday evening in the greater Gothenburg archipelago.

Another adult and child on the same recreational motor boat that sunk after a suspected collision with a Norwegian-flagged cargo ship were rescued last night and taken to hospital, reportedly serious injured.

While the Maritime Administration says there's no hope of finding the woman and child alive, Adam Goll-Rasmussen at the volunteer lifeboat, Swedish Sea Rescue Society, tells Radio Sweden that they are continuing to search the area. ...
