A sailor attempting to cross the Atlantic in a 1.2-metre boat to set a world record was rescued off Newfoundland after calling for help.
The Wildwood Police Department said that the 14-year-old male has yet to be located and search efforts are still ongoing at the beach on the New Jersey coast.
"My takeaway, looking at all of them, was that it was going further north than Northern Gateway and a lot of terminuses in Nisga'a territory," Heather Exner-Pirot said.
Earlier this month, Vancouver Coastal Health announced that downtown Vancouver’s only overdose prevention site has been moved to a new location due to public safety concerns.
Two men had made it to the shore, police said, but three others remained missing. Police said the men were clam fishing in the area.
