That’s the message from the results of the latest National Family and Health Surveys (NFHS) –– the sixth round, conducted in 2023-24 –– released on Friday by the ministry of health and family welfare.
India's NFHS reveals more women are giving birth in hospitals, with institutional deliveries rising to 90.6%, while private hospital births increase.
