The man had been arrested by gardaí yesterday in connection with the investigation.
An ‘emergency response’ has been completed and a garda investigation is now underway.
Body cams have been trialled in five garda stations: Store Street Station, Pearse Street Station and Kevin Street Station in Dublin city centre, as well as Henry Street Station in Limerick city and Waterford Garda Station.
The blade was found in searches of the area close to the murder scene in Clarendon Street, near Grafton Street in Dublin city centre by gardaí.
It is believed the suspects were targeting an ATM located inside the shop near the front door.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Fianna Fáil said the Wicklow-Wexford TD informed the party he was “arrested on suspicion of drink driving after he was stopped at a mandatory Garda checkpoint in Dublin”.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident on Grafton Street where a male was found in a serious condition at around 3am.
The four men were arrested after gardaí conducted a ‘controlled delivery’ of the consignment.
The incident in Blackwater, near Curracloe Beach and 19kms from Enniscorthy, happened at 2.50am on Wednesday morning.
