Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine has brought home 1,429 people from Russian captivity through seven prisoner exchanges conducted since the beginning of the year.
Among the Ukrainians brought back in the 75th prisoner-of-war exchange since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion are severely ill or seriously wounded defenders who are now receiving assistance. Negotiations on the next stages of the exchange are ongoing.
