American AI hardware giant Nvidia this week announced its entry into the consumer PC arena, in collaboration with Asus and other companies.
"I pay my employees as much as I can," said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, head of the US artificial intelligence hardware giant that is the world's most valuable company.
Analysts say Nvidia's move challenges the likes of Apple, Intel and AMD in the PC domain.
The AI giantโs new RTX Spark Superchip will be in laptops and desktop computers by September.
A new guidance was posted on the Commerce Departmentโs website on May 31.
Huang's visit comes as a global artificial intelligence boom drives strong demand for Samsung Electronics and SK hynix memory chips, helping support South Korea's economic growth and stock market rally.
