A Swedish Migration Agency manager has told Sveriges Radio that citizenship applications lacking proof of Swedish language skills will be put on hold rather than rejected, contradicting earlier statements.
The Christian Democrats and Sweden Democrats say they want law changes so that MPs can't quit their parties but still keep their seats in parliament.
