Polish parliament approves rights for same-sex couples but president pledges veto
The bill would allow same-sex partners to sign a contract granting them some of the rights available to married couples.

The bill would allow same-sex partners to sign a contract granting them some of the rights available to married couples.
"Unfortunately, President Zelensky has shown that Ukraine is not ready to be part of the European family," said President Nawrocki.
His choice of Zbigniew Kapiลski has drawn criticism from both the government and the opposition.
The opposition have criticised the government for failing to clamp down on the fake calls.
He said that the decision was made based on the relationship with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
It said that the "absurd" referendum was intended to "destabilise the country and polarise society".
The march, at which many anti-government banners were visible, was supported by the opposition and president.
