Immediately after coming to power, the current government restored IVF funding, which had been cut by its conservative predecessor.
"Unfortunately, President Zelensky has shown that Ukraine is not ready to be part of the European family," said President Nawrocki.
The measures "severely restricts constitutional rights", says Marcin Wiฤ cek.
"Transatlantic relations are not just [about] a Polish-US relationship," said Poland's defence minister Wลadysลaw Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The decision marks a historic change in a country that still does not allow same-sex unions to be concluded under domestic law.
He said that the decision was made based on the relationship with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
