Tauranga: Man dies after police taser incident, investigation launched

Police say the man became unresponsive en route to the Tauranga police station.
His widow said it was a reminder 'accidents can happen to even the most clever people'.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 5.30am.
Around 200 litres of hydrochloric acid spilled after the tanker rolled on Tokoroa road.

The school was in lockdown on Monday as at 1.47pm.
Emergency services were called shortly before 11am to the accident site.
The incident unfolded about 1.30am at a Matamata intersection.
