The US Treasury announced on Tuesday that two brothers had also been individually sanctioned, along with the exchangeโs chief executive officer.
The initiative stems from a legal battle to designate the Southern Faction of the Islamic Movement in Israel, Raโamโs parent movement, as a terrorist organization.
According to the Treasury Department, the authority was designated under counterterrorism sanctions authorities and was linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
