Violent protests erupted this week near where the 18-year-old Henry Nowak was murdered.
Body cams have been trialled in five garda stations: Store Street Station, Pearse Street Station and Kevin Street Station in Dublin city centre, as well as Henry Street Station in Limerick city and Waterford Garda Station.
Protesters have pelted police with missiles in clashes close to where Henry Nowak was stabbed to death.
In body-worn footage, Mr Nowak can be heard repeatedly saying: โIโve been stabbed,โ to which an officer replies: โDonโt think you have, mate.โ
