The Irish Coast Guard and a number of other rescue services have responded to a reported sunken boat.
Fans climbed trees, rooftops and traffic lights as the team bus went by during the Premier League trophy parade.
The Coast Guard and the RNLI were dispatched to the scene but the Sea Scouts from 5th Port, Dollymount were nearby and witnessed the swimmer in difficulty.
The villagers had reportedly entered the cave last week to look for valuable minerals before being trapped by flash flooding that blocked their exit.
Five of the men were located alive on Wednesday, huddling in a narrow shaft around 300 metres from the cave mouth.
