KOSPI Breaks 9,000 to Close at Fresh High

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) surged over two percent to cross the nine-thousand milestone for the first time Thursday.

The index rose 199-point-six points, or two-point-25 percent, to close at a record high nine-thousand-63-point-84.
