Iran rules out US talks as Hormuz Strait remains closed

Iran’s foreign ministry says it is still exchanging messages with the United States, but conditions for formal negotiations are not met. Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and six vessels were turned back after Iran’s guards reported illegal passage attempts.
Iran has not asked to resume talks with the US, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said.
