KOSPI Spikes More than 4% on Tech Rally

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index surged 299-point-19 points, or four-point-40 percent, on Thursday to close at seven-thousand-96-point-89.

The index spiked on news of Alphabet’s second-quarter earnings and a general tech rally.
