Marcos orders whole-of-government preparations for Bavi threat

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered a whole-of-government approach to prepare for the possible impact of Super Typhoon Bavi, which may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday.

The cyclone remains outside the PAR as of Monday and will be given the local name “Inday” once it enters the area.
