Virat Kohli's Selection For England ODIs Subject To Fitness, Ravindra Jadeja Snubbed Again

Ace batter Virat Kohli was on Sunday, June 21, picked for India’s three-match ODI series against England.

However, BCCI has said that his selection in the playing XI will be subject to fitness, as the star cricketer continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained during the IPL 2026 final.Kohli missed out on the recent three-match ODI series due to the same but is expected to feature in the England ODIs, with the first match scheduled for July 14.Meanwhile, ace India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for both the one-off Test and the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan as part of BCCI’s workload management programme, is all set to return for the ODI tour of England.The team for the three-match ODI series is another step in India’s preparations for the 2027 World Cup in South Africa.
