Highlights

UNHCR and partners continued to deliver critical WASH services across Luakdong and Tormorok, ensuring sustained access to safe water despite operational constraints. Water production, treatment, and distribution systems remained functional, supported by ongoing maintenance and water-quality monitoring to ensure safe consumption. Network expansion works progressed, including pipeline installation, trenching, and borehole development, aimed at improving access to underserved areas. In parallel, sanitation interventions advanced through the construction of household and communal facilities, alongside bathing shelters and slab production to support community-led latrine construction. Hygiene-promotion activities were intensified through community outreach, environmental cleaning campaigns, and awareness sessions, strengthening safe water handling, sanitation practices, and community ownership of WASH facilities. ...
