'We can finally say yes': Sweden's small-scale alcohol makers adapt to new rules

After years of directing visitors to Sweden's state-owned liquor store chain Systembolaget, small distilleries, breweries and vineyards have for about a year now been able to sell directly to customers — subject to conditions.

Visitors still need to take part in a paid guided tour, and producers must provide information about alcohol risks, though some requirements have been relaxed since the law first came into force.
