Lee departs for Turkey to attend NATO summit

President Lee Jae Myung departed Tuesday for Turkey, the first leg of his two-nation trip where he will attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit before heading to Mongolia.

The presidential aircraft carrying Lee took off from Seoul Air Base in Seongnam, south of Seoul, en route to Ankara, where the leaders of the NATO's 32 member countries, including US President Donald Trump, will gather for the summit from Tuesday to Wednesday.
