Saipan stone rolls home

LAST year, a stone pillar returned to the Northern Mariana Islands, 75 years after it was taken by a private collector. This symbol of Chamorro history is one of 10,000 pieces from the Northern Pacific removed—most likely without consent—by Spain, Germany, Japan, and the United States over a 400-year period.
