DOE vows better Visayas power before Marcos exits

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Energy (DOE) is confident it can resolve the Visayas’ power woes before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leaves office in 2028. Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said the agency is developing a master plan for Mindoro, Palawan and the Visayas covering power generation, transmission and distribution.
