US hits civilian area in Iran's Abdanan, state media reports

Iranian state media is reporting that the US targeted areas on the outskirts of the city of Abdanan.

The governor of Abdanan, Behzad Noormohammadi, told IRNA that "the American enemy attacked a civilian point in the mountains around Abdanan by launching a missile".

He indicated that the strikes did not result in any casualties, with an investigation into the incident ongoing. 

"Relief agencies have been dispatched to the scene of the incident and are busy closely examining the dimensions of the enemy's aggression," he added. ...
