Smartworks leases 1,100 desks in Pune to L&T

New Delhi: Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd on Monday said it has leased over 1,100 desks at its Pune facility to L&T Technology Services and the company expects a rental income of Rs 55 crore over a five-year tenure.In a regulatory filing, the company informed it has "expanded engagement with L&T Technology Services through the addition of over 1,100 seats in Pune."Smartworks has now provided over 2,750 seats to L&T Technology Services across many cities.

The rental income from the latest deal in Pune is Rs 55 crore for a tenure of 60 months.Neetish Sarda, Founder and Managing Director of Smartworks, said, "Enterprise workplace decisions are increasingly being driven by flexibility, speed and the confidence to scale.

Our managed campuses deliver exactly that."The company noted that clients with more than 1,000 seats contribute about 37 per cent of Smartworks' total rental revenue.The company had a portfolio of 16.1 million square feet across 66 centres in 15 cities across India and Singapore, as on March 31, 2026.Smartworks takes office spaces from developers to set up fully managed, enterprise grade campuses.
