Sweden's green transition slowing down — several projects go bankrupt

The industrial sector is responsible for nearly a third of Sweden's greenhouse gas emissions. But the green transition here is slowing down.

One of Sweden's biggest emitters, Heidelberg, has halted its plans for carbon capture and removal at its cement factory, after the Swedish state said no to investing SEK 8 billion in the plant.
