30일(현지시간) 로이터통신에 따르면 사우디는 이날 수도 리야드에서 열린 관련 회의에서 홍해 보호를 위한 다국적 방위 연합체 창설 계획을 논의했다.
이날 논의에는 43개국과 유럽연합(EU) 대표단이 참석했다.
사우디 국방부는 회의 후 파키스탄, 튀르키예, 이집트, 수단을 비롯해 아랍·아프리카 14개국이 연합체를 구성할 것이라고 밝혔다.
중동 걸프협력회의(GCC) 회원국 중 오만과 아랍에미리트(UAE)는 참석 의사를 밝히지 않았다....
