Lawyer sues federal govt over ‘oppressive’ military checkpoints in South-east

PREMIUM TIMES reports that there have been multiple military checkpoints on major roads across the five South-east states of Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, and Abia, but personnel manning the checkpoints have been accused of extorting, harassing, intimidating road users in the region.
