On Tuesday, the U.S.

Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Legal Counsel informed the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that its guidelines regarding business “disparate-impact” liability under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 violate the 14th Amendment of the U.S.

Constitution.
