Cheap air travel unlikely to return as airlines remain under pressure

Rising fuel costs are putting fresh pressure on airlines, with analysts predicting more bankruptcies, mergers and acquisitions.

The pandemic was a turning point for the industry, and since 2020 at least 30 airlines have folded or been restructured. Now there could be more to come, Swedish Radio News reports.
