Parliament Approves Special Counsel Investigation into Election Ballot Shortage

The National Assembly has passed a bill on appointing a special counsel to investigate the ballot shortages that marred the June 3 local elections.

During a plenary session on Thursday, 226 of the 228 lawmakers present voted in favor of the bill, while two voted against it.
