Marcos trust rating slumps to record-low 34%; Duterte holds at 57%

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s trust rating has hit a historic new low in the second quarter of 2026, just a week before he delivers his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA). The steady decline was captured in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, which was commissioned by the Stratbase Group think tank.
