A 65-year-old hiker has been struck by lightning on Lantau Peak, police have confirmed to HKFP.
The man was among a group ascending Lantau’s highest peak as part of the Hong Kong Hiking Meetup group.
Police said he is in a conscious state.
The incident occurred at around noon.
