Blooming rafflesia enriches Apayao’s biosphere reserve

LUNA, APAYAO — Sightings of blooming rafflesia, a rare endemic parasitic plant in the wilderness of Apayao province, have continued to inspire officials and residents here to protect and preserve the last nature frontier of Cordillera Region.
