Pagasa: LPA outside PAR will have no effect on PH in next 2 to 3 days

MANILA, Philippines — The state weahter bureau said on Thursday that the low pressure area (LPA) monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility would not directly affect the country in the next two to three days. On Thursday’s 5 p.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, weather specialist Loriedin de La Cruz-Galicia said that the LPA was last located 2,905 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao, as of 3 p.m. The weather forecaster said that it had a high chance of developing into a tropical depression.
