Thai princess in coma dies, aged 47: royal palace

Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol, the eldest daughter ‌of Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn, ⁠died at the ‌age of 47 ‌after nearly four ⁠years ⁠in ‌a coma, ‌the ‌royal palace ‌said in ⁠a statement ⁠on Friday.
She was suffering from an abdominal infection and “her condition continued to worsen”, the Bureau of the Royal Household said in a statement, until she “passed away peacefully” on Thursday evening.
