‘Scary Movie’ Review: The Sixth ‘Scary Movie’ Has a Few Choice Gags, but Mostly It’s So Meta It’s Meh

The script is by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez (the film even makes jokes about how many Wayans there are), and they have bound themselves to the Ghostface saga as if it were the only thing that mattered in horror.

The killer keeps popping up, as in a "Scream" film, and that sustains the tone of comic aggression.
