The pioneer batch of Reina Filipinas candidates had not one, not two, but three international beauty queens to help them in their quest for the crown—reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao, her predecessor Christine Juliane “CJ” Opiaza, and 2020 Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo.
