Extreme heat eases a bit in Infanta, Quezon as heat index hits 45°C

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – The municipality of Infanta, Quezon continued to experience dangerously high temperatures after recording another extreme heat index on Thursday, June 4.

In its heat index bulletin issued at 5 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Infanta registered a heat index of 45 degrees Celsius.
